Job Introduction

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Levels 1–3. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future workforce and share your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.


Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • GCSE standard (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Teaching qualification at Level 6 or above (Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS) or willingness to work towards.
  • Assessor Award.
  • Experience delivering to a wide range of learners (14–19+).
  • Proven track record of successfully teaching Engineering provision and delivering good or better teaching.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and monitor/analyse data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and/or access to a vehicle.


Desirable Attributes:

  • Internal Verifier (IV) Award.
  • Experience supporting learners with SEN.
  • Knowledge of awarding body procedures and practices.
