East Durham Sixth Form (ED6) is expanding its STEM provision and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Science. We would welcome applications from those with a specialism in either Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, to join our team from August 2025.

At ED6, we provide an exceptional learning environment for post-16 students who are passionate about science and have chosen to study it further with us. From September 2025, we are introducing an enriched A Level pathway model, designed to offer students a highly engaging and academically rigorous experience, including:

Exceptional Internal Work Experience in our cutting-edge science and engineering facilities, allowing students to develop practical skills in a professional environment Supercurricular Activities that extend learning beyond the syllabus and prepare students for higher education Exciting Enrichment Programmes, including national competitions, STEM outreach, and industry engagement Prestigious Partnerships with Russell Group Universities, providing students with exclusive opportunities for academic collaboration, university visits, and mentoring
